While we may think that potable water is ubiquitous, the reality is different. As much as 97% of the planet's water is salty, and therefore undrinkable. Of the remaining 3%, as much as 2% is locked away in frigid glaciers, leaving only a modest 1% of water available to meet all our needs: from agriculture to manufacturing to daily use. Therefore, each of us should take care of its resources every day!
